My yarn and my tools (crazy pictures!)
Dear friends, here I am again! This time, I thought I'd post photos of all my knitting tools and the yarn I have at the moment. I hope you like them! First, my tools: you can see straight needles of many sizes, three sets of DPNs (still unused), four sets of circular needles (unused, and the string is 35inches or so!), safety pins, measuring tape, two cable needles, scissors, a little crotchet for mistakes, row counters, assorted tapestry needles... Then, photos of my yarn. I have started a "all in one piece" baby sweater mixing the huge yellow and blue skeins. They had a great discount at El Corte Inglés :-) I couldn't resist! AS you can see, there are also some lovely multicolour balls, and the usual orange and purple acrylic, which knit very fast and are so bright! I love them :) Anyway, I'd love to hear your comments. What would you do with some of these balls? See those lovely summer acrylic ones on the right. They look so fresh. Maybe I could do socks with them, if I were able to take those four needles together :( -

Hi Knitting Pal!
I belong to the Novice Knitters and have been following your progress. Good work, swell colors and follow up on skills and sharing.
I like the baby sweater colors. I might suggest a kid's vest on www.warmwoolies.org. This is easy to add stripes, stitch patterns and any changes because it is simple. You only seam the shoulders. I have made them for charity and a longer version for a "jumper" for my great granddaughter. They take a small amount of yarn and by making stripes, if you run out, add a differnt color yarn.
Thanks for all your interesting sends and for you great blog!

Wow- what a stash you've collected! I love your taste in colors.
I have a lot of yarn, but I don't have as many needles and tools. I always seem to have to run out to get something before I start a new project.
Hey there Flavio,
Unlike you, I rarely use straights. Once you use circulars, I find starights harder to use. You do not have to knit in the round to use circulars. The scarf you saw on mu site is on a wooden circular. The clogs have to be done on the round. Just wait till you see the post of the finished product.
Thank you, everyone! :)
Dear Charles: I'll have to learn, then :)
Flavio
Glad you posted your knitting supplies and yarn stash. Sort of looks like mine :-)
hugs,
Esther
PS: I am posting your link on my blog as one of my favorite blogs. Hope you don't mind.
Thank you Esther!
